Cuban Food Promotion at Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, 2 July 2018 – Swiss-Garden International Hotels & Residences Kuala Lumpur (SHRKL) has invited two guest chefs from The Republic of Cuba to introduce the unique flavours of their authentic Cuban food and culture here for our fellow Malaysians.

The Cuban Food Promotion which kick-starts today to 9 July 2018, is a special collaboration program between SHRKL and the Cuban Embassy here in Malaysia.

The eight days promotion which ends on 09 July at our Green Treats Delicatessen Café will showcase a delightful spread of Cuban delicacies specially prepared by guest Chef Carlos Silvio Otero Pérez and Chef Eddy Fernandez Monte.

Two Guest Chefs, Chef Carlos Silvio Otero Pérez and Chef Eddy Fernandez Monte, who are specially flown in by the Cuban Embassy for the Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2018, will present their Cuban specialties through a semi buffet lunch and dinner spread. Ala-Carte Cuban cuisine items are also available on our specially tailored menu during this period.

During the food promotion, guests will be able to savour different Cuban speciality dishes such as Pollo ala Campesina (Rustic Chicken), Chilindron de Cordero (Stewed Lamb), Ropa Vieja (Shredded Beef), Filete de Pescado Grille con Maitre Hotel (Grilled Fish Fillet Maitre Hotel Style), Langosta Enchilada (Cuban Style Shrimp Enchiladas) and many more varieties ranging from Salad, Appetizers, Soups to delightful Desserts.

There will also be a ‘LIVE’ Cooking Counter where the Chefs will be showing off their cooking skills in preparing Cuban Style Chicken Rice and Cubano Sandwiches.

The launch of Cuban Food Promotion was attended by Executive Director OSK Group, Puan Sri Khor Chai Moi; Group Managing Director OSK Group, Ong Ju Yan; Chief Operating Officer Swiss-Garden International, Peter Gan; and General Manager SHRKL, Jerina Foong-Chin.

The Cuban Food Promotion, which is available until 09 July 2018, will see the Cuban chefs prepare exquisite Cuban dishes for lunch and dinner at the Green Treats Delicatessen Café. It is priced at MYR 98 nett per person.
