Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms

Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm is a family-friendly attraction in Genting Highlands, where you can spend an afternoon exploring its many colourful fruit farms and flower gardens. Set within Bandar Gohtong Jaya, it’s accessible within a six-minute drive from the Genting Premium Outlets and Awana Skyway cable car station. Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm offers a variety of vegetables, flowers and mushrooms which are exported to various regions across the country. Acknowledged as the biggest strawberry farm in Malaysia, organically-grown treats are available for purchase here. You can also pick your own strawberries straight from the orchards. One of its most picturesque features is the Lavender Garden, which is fitted with unique fountains surrounded by blooming lavender flowers. Various kiosks can be found throughout the farm, selling honey, cactus, clothing, soft toys and souvenirs, while visitors feeling a bit peckish can enjoy simple dishes at the onsite strawberry-themed restaurant.

Genting Highlands Premium Outlets

Genting Highlands Premium Outlets is an open-air shopping mall with an extensive collection of designer fashion, sportswear, luggage, accessories, and shoes. These brands also offer impressive discounts of up to 65% daily, making it a must-visit for shopaholics on a tight budget. Known as the first hilltop Premium Outlet Centre in Southeast Asia, there are about 150 internationally-renowned brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Superdry, Aigner, Coach, Furla, Hugo Boss, Michael Kors, Moschino, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Kate Spade New York. Awana Skyway

Enjoy the crisp mountain air as you make your way up on the new Awana Sky Way. It takes just 10 minutes to ascend from Awana Station to the final stop, SkyAvenue Station. Whether you are on your way up or down the mountain, you would not want to miss the stop at the midway point where you can disembark at the Chin Swee station at no extra cost and explore the Chin Swee Caves Temple and its scenic surroundings. The gondolas fly over key attractions at the resort, giving passengers a bird’s eye view of the surroundings. For a more spectacular experience, try the glass-floor gondola. A breath-taking view of the 130-million-year-old rainforest below awaits. To reduce waiting time, Awana Sky Way has a top speed of 6 metres per second, and is able to carry 3,000 passengers one way every hour. The 99 standard gondolas and 10 glass-floor gondolas can seat 10 and six passengers respectively. The French-made cable cars now stand at 2.1 metres high instead of the previous 1.6 metres, allowing passengers to get in and out easily.
