A celebration or exclusive business presentation, styled to meet one’s business or personal needs at the contemporary Grand Hibiscus Ballroom, coming soon in November 2009. Located in the heart of the much vibrant city, in conjunction with the upcoming launch, Swiss-Garden Hotel will also unveil the MY KL Photography Contest, a joint collaboration with Travel Times, News Straits Times, Nikonian Academy and Time Out Kuala Lumpur.

My KL Photography Contest runs from September 1st to October 15, 2009 and welcomes the participation of people from all walks of life, be it beginner, amateur or even professionals.

Among the exciting prizes to be won are holiday stays at Swiss-Garden International properties as well as photography equipment and professional training from Nikonian Academy, Malaysia's biggest and most popular photography academy.

Up to 8 winners in total, the first prize comprises of RM2,000 worth of photography equipment, professional training from the Nikonian Academy and a 3 days 2 night stay at the exclusive Swiss-Villas, Damai Laut, the ideal home away from home family holiday retreat worth up to RM6,000 in total. The contest will culminate with an award ceremony at the auspicious launch of the Grand Hibiscus Ballroom in November 2009 with selected photographs being exhibited to the public.

College students or fresh graduates are also encouraged to participate as Time Out Kuala Lumpur will award one participant with the “Time Out Kuala Lumpur Young Photographer’s Award” together with a 3 month internship at Mongoose Publishing Sdn Bhd.
