Overlooking the view of Batu Gajah, Perak, is the unfinished castle belongs to William Kellie Smith or better known as Kellie’s Castle. After the owner’s passing, the castle was left abandoned before being made into a tourist attraction years later.
Gopeng used to be tin mining town for about 100 years since 1870s. The museum opened to public in 2009 contains displays items from Gopeng's glory days.
Vale Eco Centre was launched in October 2015 as one of social investment initiatives. The centre is aimed to serve as an educational platform for the local community members and the public at large to discover and appreciate biodiversity in the Teluk Rubiah forest.
The resort is accessible by air through regular scheduled direct flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA2) to Penang Airport or Johor Airport to Ipoh Airport. Alternatively, flights from Singapore to Ipoh are also available via Scoot and Firefly.
The resort is accessible by road from the capital of Kuala Lumpur via the North-South Expressway. Exit at Sungkai, pass Teluk Intan and head for Sitiawan / Manjung district. From here it is only takes a half hour scenic drive to the resort. Other than that, you may take the Ipoh-Lumut Highway if you are coming from Ipoh. The 99.3 km journey to Swiss-Garden Beach Resort Damai Laut will take about 1 hour 50 minutes.
The main Railway Station in Ipoh is about 80km from Swiss-Garden Beach Resort Damai Laut. Transfers should be arranged prior to your arrival.
